HCP show girls their education matters

HCP now work with RThe Red Box Projected Box Project, a community partnership which acts as a conduit between schools and fundraisers, delivering donated sanitary products locally and sustainably where needed. More information about organisations and schools involved is available on their website and social media channels.

One in 10 girls in England and Wales regularly miss school due to not being able to afford basic female hygiene products. It’s highly likely that end users at HCP Education projects are not always able to take advantage of both their education, and our infrastructure.

Our staff act as coordinators, or provide donation points with Red Boxes. When the boxes are full they are delivered to schools in need, and refilled on an ongoing basis.

This is an initiative that originated from an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion meeting. The project leads are: Ellie Rowland-Callanan, Andrew Crossland, Susan Gardner, Sarah Strachan, Kate Greener, Andrew Rowlands and Sarah Sibbald.
