PLACE Results – Congratulations to Whiston and St Helens

Our team (NewHospitals) work closely with the Service Providers (Medirest, Vinci Facilities & GE) and Trust to ensure we maintain these high standards.

In May 2018, Medirest and Vinci also won an award presented by the Trust CEO at their Annual Presentation Evening for Outstanding Achievement.  This was partly on the back of the results from last year’s PLACE assessment.

“The Trust has been named BEST acute Trust in England for the second year running in the latest Patient Led assessments.

We achieved an average of 99% with top marks for cleanliness, food, privacy and dignity, condition of the buildings and facilities for patients living with dementia and patients with disabilities.

This is recognition to all staff for their hard work in maintaining such high standards for patients”.

Testimonial from the Trust Website
