About The Project

The new facility is being constructed adjacent to the current Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, allowing conjoined services between the children’s and adult departments. It will comprise of 154 beds in the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, 67 beds in the Department of Neurosciences, 12 beds in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, with ten theatres across the hospital. In addition, the facility will include a Ronald McDonald Family Hotel.
