About The Project

Glasgow Learning Quarter is the project company that brought eleven separate buildings across the city within two new city centre campuses.  As an NPD procurement model, the construction of the £229 million twin-site super College in the City Centre of Glasgow was completed by Sir Robert McAlpine, with the Riverside campus opening in October 2015 and City campus in August 2016.

HCP mobilised this full concession MSA on 1st February 2018, working closely with the Service Provider, FES FM, to establish the appropriate procedures and model for the Project going forward.  The facilities supports 790 courses, to approximately 40,000 students of all ages bringing together six major faculties in 400 high-tech classrooms, multi-purpose lecture theatres and specialist teaching facilities, using state-of-the-art technologies, approximately 1000 jobs and creating 40 new apprenticeships.
