About The Project

The contract was signed on 25th October 2000 and initially involved the building of 13 new schools and the refurbishment of 63 existing schools.  Over time, additional schools, built by Stoke City Council have been added to the project so the project now includes a total of 89 schools.  This is the largest PFI schools project in the UK.
