About The Project
On 4th July 2007, financial close was reached for the Greater Peterborough Health Investment Plan (GPHIP). The project involved the design, build, finance and ongoing service provision for three new buildings.
Peterborough City Hospital is an acute facility with 624 beds, the City Care Centre is a primary care facility offering a minor injuries unit, outpatient facilities and an intermediate care ward of 34 beds. The Cavell Centre is a mental health facility with 99 beds.
The project won the prestigious Judges Choice Partnerships Bulletin Award 2020, thanks to it’s innovative ESG and exemplar partnership working.
