About The Project

The project comprises the design, build, finance and operation of 10 2MW turbines. Construction started in April 2013 and power generation begun in Spring 2014. The project produces enough electricity to meet the needs of around 12,500 homes, making a contribution to securing the region’s energy supply, whilst offsetting 21,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions per annum.
